Google is all set to add presentations soon to already popular Google Docs & Spreadsheets. That means a complete online office tools for the user, does it send any signals to Microsoft. Tonic Systems which Google just acquired have some great technology for presentation creation and document conversion, and it will be a great addition to add presentation Google Docs & Spreadsheets.

I would recommend to try Zoho Office suite. It has most of the office tools already.
