YouTube to display ads in videos

Softpedia reports that YouTube is going to add adverts before video clips by next year to allow companies to monetize their videos. The ad revenue generated from these ads will be shared with the broadcasters. Recently Jalipo announced a video market place for publishers and Adobe is planning to release a media player for video content distribution. In my opinion online video advertising market is going to take off in next few months with major players competing for the space.

According to Computing, Patrick Walker, European head of video partnerships at Google, sustained the video service will soon include adverts that will allow the search giant to share the revenue with the broadcasters of the clip. The company plans to release the new program next year and will represent an important Google move to conquer the video advertising market.
