Yahoo is adding new features to its recently redesigned My Yahoo, personalized home pages from yahoo. Google has renamed its personalized home pages as iGoogle and now its Yahoo turn to boost its my yahoo with new features.

Yahoo is introducing a new calender module, a My Netflix module that uses the Netflix API and an update to the Yahoo bookmarsk module. Competition is increasing in this space with Google promoting iGoogle with improved features and gadget maker. Other notable services in this space are Netvibes and Pageflakes. Netvibes has a lot of potential to compete with Google and Yahoo in this space.

Improvements at My Yahoo are read/write functionality for Calender modules. The ability to add bookmarks from the module itself and lot more content to choose from to add to My Yahoo.
