Apple Releases Safari for Windows

Apple released today Safari browser for windows, Steve Jobs announced at Apple developers conference. Apple claims that their browser is twice as fast as the competition.

I downloaded safari to test how it goes, my site is loaded after 40 sec usually in Firefox it loads in 4 secs. In a few min’s browsing with safari my laptop became too slow, i feel it uses lot of RAM.

It comes with in-built spell checker, pop-up blocker, bookmarks import and export among others. It recognizes the plug-ins like flash player, real player etc installed on your system.

What i liked so far is Private Browsing feature, once enabled it wont save the web pages you have visited to history, it wont remember the searches you made.
