The low-tier paid plan is very similar to .Mac in terms of what you get for what you pay, but has its own strengths and weaknesses compared to .Mac (personalized flash for instance). Box.net's free solution file size is limited to 10MB max file size with 1GB space, and MediaFire.com limited to 100MB max file size. DivShare Free is 200MB max file size with 5GB space, and the flash players for uploaded video and audio are extremely useful. i still think the regular free DivShare is one of the best solutions available.
