DigaList: Social Voting Meets Lists
Published on June 17th, 2007 Filed Under Web 2.0
Dig a List is a new site where users can vote on lists submitted by other users. It works in Reddit manner, users submit their favorite lists to the site and others vote those lists up and down.
Lists are collection of tips or tricks or useful tools, for example Top 10 gmail hacks, Top 10 Firefox extensions are a couple of lists. If you are a regular Digg user you will know these lists very well. Digalist organizes these user submitted lists in to categories and tags. RSS feeds for categories, recent and popular items to keep updated with the lists.
Users have to register for submitting the lists and to vote on others lists.
The design is very simple and clear. Site is not cluttered, a revamp of the sidebar would be a good idea. The voting system looks like a copy of reddit.com

Well, I knew it would happen sooner or later. A site that I originally wanted Listikal to be. A collection of all things list related, hence the name. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll be using this site regularly now.

@Listikal
I always wonder why you have choosen that name, thanx for the clarification. You would have started this site when you got the idea. These type of sites doesn’t need so much resources (Do u know Guy Kawasaki’s Trumors).
