Youtube Goes Multinational

youtubeThe most successful video sharing site YouTube is now available in 9 country specific versions. Youtube local versions will be available for Brazil, France, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Ireland, and the UK.

These new sites are fully translated and localized for each country and they will display country specific content, as well as user interfaces, search and community features as video ratings, sharing, and content flagging.

Current Users can switch to the new sites or continue in the youtube.com or switch between the sites.

This is good move from Youtube to attract the non-English speaking audience to the site.
