Orkut is going to have a face lift, this is the first redesign of the sites as far as i know. My account is still showing the boring old interface, the new design is looking better than the old one.
The one comment we always hear is how orkut’s simplicity keeps long-time users coming back and new people signing up. So as we work away planning improvements to the site, we always keep this in mind.
The new interface is not yet live for all users, only some users accounts are enabled for this, according to orkut’s blog “we will roll it out to a small group of users randomly selected, and will continue to do so until everyone is on the new site.”
For me orkut is time waster, many people have become addict and wasting their time in orkut. Google should do something to remove addiction of orkut.

It depends on personal interest, when i get bored i spend time there, but these days i am not getting time
The new interface looks cool . But i am not one of the lucky ones to get it .
