Stop YouTube Overlay Ads With TubeStop

[tag]YouTube[/tag] this week started displaying overlay video ads on videos. When you are watching a video after 15 seconds a video ad appears on the player and sits there for 10 seconds, if the user doesn’t click the video it will go and the normal video resumes, if the user clicks the video it starts playing the ad video once its finished this will go automatically and the normal video play resumes.

If you don’t like to distracted because of these ads there is a Firefox extension TubeStop which will disable playing these overlay ads. TubeStop disables the auto play option of the youtube videos, so that you can open multiple videos in tabs and watch them when you want. This extension also works to stop displaying video overlay ads, install the extension and start enjoying youtube videos without ads.
