The Google Phone rumors are continuing to roll but no one seems to know exactly Google plans. Engadget today reported that Google is planning a linux based OS for the mobile platform.
Google’s mobile project started with the acquisition of a mobile software company called Android late in 2005. They have developed this mobile operating system, and reportedly Google is looking for a mobile phone manufacturers and carriers to market the system.
Google mobile OS makes sense because with this Google can have a strong hold over mobile advertising space.
