Kickstart: Yahoo’s Social Network

Published on August 31, 2007   Filed Under Web 2.0

Yahoo is reportedly building a social network called Kickstart for college students looking for jobs. It connects college students with the employers.

Registered users will have profiles like mini resumes something similar to LinkedIn and a quotation to have a personal feel of the user. Users can join groups of the companies they are interested in, to get access to these groups you must get an invite from that company employee. Students can join University groups freely with out invites.

CNET reports that “Yahoo Kickstart is currently a concept and is being researched, so the things that you see in these screenshots may or may not make it into the final product.
