Customize iGoogle’s Layout

Published at September 3, 2007   Filed Under Google

iGoogle has a feature which lets you customize the layout of the tab. Whether this is new feature or a hidden one is not clear, myself i never noticed it.

There are 7 layouts available so far,
1. 1 column
2. 2 column (3 types)
3. 3 column (2 types)
4. 4 column

To change the layout of the tab click on the small arrow beside the tab title and select the layout for that tab. Changing one tab layout doesn’t change the layout of other tabs.

  3. Frankly I dont use iGoogle often, any ways good to know that its having better layout.
  4. I’m also not a fan of iGoogle, my vote is for netvibes :D
  5. @Shankar
Netvibes is also a good one, but i am using iGoogle
  6. Sadly, I am using both NetVibes and IGoogle :) But I am slowly turning over to IGoogle as they add new features like this. It is still easier to make your home page look better with NetVibes but IGoogle is catching up when they add stuff like this… Thanks for the heads up!
