Download Youtube Videos with DownloadHelper Firefox Add-On
DownloadHelper is a Firefox extension which lets you download web content like videos and images. What is unique about this is you don’t need to copy and paste the URL from YouTube to another downloader tool, you just need to click the downloadhelper icon to download the video.
After installation the extension will add a small icon on your toolbar, and a link in the right click context menu and in the a link in the tools menu. You can set the preferences like what type of files to be detected and how to download the videos. By default it downloads the files one by one so that you can browse while download in progress. You can also specify to download the videos all at once. When you browse the web with DownloadHelper extension installed, whenever it finds downloadable content the icon gets animated, now you click on the icon and select the file to be downloaded.
It is a quite useful extension if you download lot of videos from sites like youtube, dailymotion etc. It supports most of the video sharing sites, you can check the supported sites from the right click context menu.
