Create Favicon For Your Blog

Published on October 14, 2007   Filed Under Web 2.0

Adding a favicon to your site is a nice way to show the world that you care about your blog, the little icons show your brand identity. These little icons show up in browser bookmarks and it will be easy for users to identify a specific bookmark just looking at the favicon.

Favicon.cc is a new site for creating your own favicons. It places a grid layout for you where you can fill the pixels with colors to create a favicon which matches with your site identity. After you are done with your creativity save the image to your computer and add it to your template.

  1. Good article. I will have to give favicon.cc a try. I usually just take an image and generate an icon out of it here: http://www.freefavicon.com/

It might be easier to try favicon.cc instead.

  2. Good stuff, I really like it. Thanks for the info!

  3. @Aseem You are welcome
