Apple to ship Leopard on Oct 26th

Apple today announced that the much awaited Leopard will ship from October 26th. Apple says the 300+ new features have been included in this release.

New Features:

  • Stacks of new files for clutter free work space
  • Browser files easily
  • Quick look lets you see the file contents with out opening
  • Time machine lets you backup files with one click
  • Create custom workspaces to stay clutter-free and organized
  • Email personalized stationery, take notes, and write to-dos that appear in iCal
  • Video chat with effects and backdrops, present remotely, and get more from text
  • web Clips lets you save content from web to desktop


Apple is accepting pre-orders through it’s online store. A single user license will cost $129 and family pack license will cost $199.

    So finally its out. There was huge buzz whether Apple will be able to release it by October.
