GIMP 2.4 Released

GIMP, the popular open source alternative to Adobe Photoshop has been upgraded to version 2.4 with lot of new features.

GIMP now comes with Tango style Icon set to provide a consistent look on Windows, Mac and Linux. New features includes improved selection tools, brushes scalability, changes in menus, improved display when zooming in or out. See the release notes for full list of features.

Along the lines of this release GIMP website also got a new dark design.

    Photoshop is ultimate, if you don’t have that it is useful

  3. Everybody’d have PS for sure.. Its how they get it that matters ;)

  4. Hmm my new laptop dosnt have photoshop and ive been reluctant to try gimp.
    Guess i will give it a try now.

    Not everybody, I don’t have one now, i used to have PS 6.0 but i removed it becoz its no use now
