How to get web images as wallpapers in your phone

Published at October 25, 2007   Filed Under Tools

Most of the mobile phones have preloaded wallpapers to chosse from, but they are boring or sometimes you want something cool. You stumbledupon a picture and you want that in your phone as wallpaper.

Pix2fone is a free service using which you can download any image on the web or from your computer to your mobile phone.

How it works

You can upload a picture to pix2fone or install the firefox or IE extension to get it going. Once you have the browser extension installed it will add a “Save Picture to Mobile Phone” link as a right click context menu. You can right click on any picture and select the save picture to mobile phone. It will process the request and now you have to select your mobile phone make and model. You can also edit the picture at this stage. After that it will assign a code to that picture, now all you have to do is go to wap.pix2fone.com and enter the code to get your picture.
