Multi IM chat in Gmail

Google is still adding the new features to gmail. Some users are already noticing the new version of gmail with faster page loads and better contact manager. Google operating system is reporting that Google may be adding a multi IM support to gmail. There are indication in the Google code for support to Jabber transports, that means you can chat with other IM networks like Yahoo, MSN and AOL from gmail.

There are also code hints about colors for labels in gmail and ability to detach messages from conversations. It would be interesting to see where Gmail will end what we can expect in the near future.
