Today if you logged in to Orkut you would have noticed a message to add an application named “Ask Friends”. With this feature you can ask a question and your friends can answer them. You can ask all your friends or ask only one.
Google is finally looking at Orkut, they did a redesign few days back and now they are adding apps to compete with Facebook. With the Google’s Open Social you may find more apps in the coming days. The interesting feature of this app is when you are typing the question it will suggest you the appropriate categories for the questions, and it does accurately.
Although Orkut is not popular in US, if they add some apps and new features i am sure it becomes popular in US also.

Now this is a cool feature . But if they want to compete with Facebook , they have to give more such things.
