Digg RSS Feeds with direct links to original articles

One of the worst things about Digg RSS feeds is that they doesn’t point directly to original articles with out going to Digg. If you are like me you don’t want to go to Digg (to read those funny comments). For my own use I have cloned an existing Yahoo Pipes Digg Feed and created individual feeds for Technology sections of digg. These RSS feeds contain direct link to the article and description, grab them if they are useful to you. If you need RSS feeds for other sections of the Digg with direct links you can easily do that, see the end of the article for this.

Digg Feed

Technology Front Page: Feed

Apple: Feed

Design: Feed

Tech Deals: Feed

Software: Feed

Security: Feed

Programming: Feed

Mods: Feed

Microsoft: Feed

Linux/Unix: Feed

Tech Industry News: Feed

Hardware: Feed

Gadgets: Feed

All these feeds are available from my Yahoo Pipes page.

If you want to create RSS feeds for other sections of the Digg, clone any digg feed from my yahoo pipes page and click edit source. Now yahoo pipes editor will open, here, in the feed fecth module change the XML feed url with your desired digg section XML url (see below pic).

Digg changed their feeds recently so these feeds stopped working. I will create new feeds using API when i have time. Mean while i will update the feeds so that they go to digg articles instead of 404 error pages.
