Flickr Uploadr 3.0 Beta

Published on November 21, 2007   By Ram  5 Comments

Flickr released the beta 3.0 of their official Flickr Uploadr tool. If you have never used this tool a small recap, this tool allows you to upload photos from your desktop to Flickr easily. I use it to upload photos and it works well and faster than the browser based upload.

You can drag and drop photos to this tool to upload to flickr. You can create new set or add the photos to the existing ones. Title, tags and description can be added right from the tool, optionally you can select to resize the photos before uploading to flickr.

You need to give permission to this tool one time for connecting to flickr account, even if you have older version of uploader you have to give this permission again.

    Is there any functional difference between the new and old versions?

    @Nirmal
    Yes with this version you can add titles, tags and privacy for each photo when we upload a batch. With earlier versions if i remember you can only add tags to the entire set or batch

  3. I have never given this a try so far. Guess will have a go with the new version.
