If you logged in to Youtube today you might have noticed already that Youtube had added an interesting feature called Video Holiday Cards. With this feature you can send any video as a greeting card to your friends or family, you need to login before sending the card. When you watch a video on youtube you will see a blue banner with text send this as a video holiday card, click on this link to send that video as a greeting card to anyone.
You could also select a cool theme for your video, 6 themes are available to choose from. You can also enter a personalized message in the next screen and enter the email addresses of people you want to send the video greeting card.
This holiday season instead of sending those boring animated flash cards send some cool video clips preferably your own to your beloved ones.

Wow this is a cool feature by youtube .

Thanks Teknobites
I am on youtube regularily and did not know of this feature. Awesome.
A better alternative is Sharenik.com which allows you to have both photos and videos and is not the behemoth that YouTube/Google is. Check out Sharenik’s homepage for a cute sample.

I’d like to send out a video greeting card, but no matter what youtube
video I click on to send, it goes through all the motion and even says
the video has been sent, but the person I sent it to doesn’t receive
it. I’ve sent them to myself, I’ve sent them to my kids, I’ve sent
them to my friends, and NO ONE ever receives them!
Can anyone help me figure out why???
