BBC goes web2.0ish with new beta homepage

BBC is experimenting quietly with a new web2.0ish homepage, you can see the new homepage here.

The new homepage a “lick of paint” has all the web 2.0 flavors like rounded corners, large font, draggable Ajax boxes and a web 2.0 color.

The new design is pretty good, this design is inspired from many sources like iGoogle, Netvibes and Facebook.

The key features of the new makeover are simple, clean interface. Customization, you can add or remove content based on your interests. The other important feature is the localization, you can set your location to see local sites, weather, news, radio and TV etc.
