Most of the tech savvy users use twitter nowadays. Why not send an update when you publish a post on your blog so that your twitter followers always updated on what you are posting.

Twitter Updater is a wordpress plugin that does this job, download the plugin and activate from the admin panel. After activation go to manage and select ‘Twitter Updater’, enter the details here with your account information.

Now the plugin will send automatically an update to your twitter account when you create, publish or edit your wordpress post. You can specify the text and also control update on/off from the admin panel. This is a nice plugin if you use twitter a lot and have some followers.

Agreed with Madhur. Now I don’t have to announce my new blog post manually on Twitter. Automation really is a good thing. Will it truncate the post length with TinyUrl automatically?
