First Look at Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or Email alerts. Thanks for visiting!

I downloaded the Internet Explorer 8 beta 1 to see how it works and to test its new features. Install took some time, it scanned all my computer for any malicious software.
After installation when you open it it will ask you to add services for Activities and Webslices. Using these features you can get status updates from your Facebook friends, monitor eBay listings from the toolbar, and more like stumble reviews, Yahoo maps etc. These are quite useful features if you want to have a quick around.
Activities are available as shortcuts from contextual menu, select any word and right click to see how it works.

This is a beta software, it promptly crashed few times after opening my blog, one good thing is that it recovers the crashed tab immediately. There is an Emulate IE7 mode if you want to go back to IE7 which works perfectly like IE7.
Have you tested IE8, if so how is your experience with it.
