Highlight and Share Web Clips with Awesome Highlighter

AwesomeHighlighter is a nifty web service that allows you to highlight web content and share with your friends. You can highlight text or images on any web page, Awesomehighlighter turns it in to a web clip and generates a unique URL for that clip.

To use it open Awesomehighlighter and input the URL of the page you want to highlight and click highlight page, it opens up the page. Now you can just highlight any text or image and click done. Your highlight is created with a unique URL. You can share this link with others.

When you open this unique URL, it opens up the original web page and highlights the highlighted text.

It is simple and useful if you share lot of content on the web. The only thing is that you need to open Awesomehighlighter website before you can use it, wouldn’t if we can do this with Bookmarklet. Clipmarks is another service for creating web clips

    Check the output before you forward, it frequently loses highlighting on one or more of the sections you highlighted.
