How to watch the Olympics Online

Published on August 8, 2008   Filed Under Technology

The Beijing Olympics 2008 ceremonies begin at Beijing, most of the games may not interest everyone but for sure some of you might be interested in watching some. If you want to catchup with Olympics NBC is providing thousands of hours of content online for US Viewers. For India and other countries that are uncovered by Olympics sponsors there is an Youtube channel that will stream three hours of video each day covering important sports events.

One way is to use proxy servers to trick the streaming server

itsgametime.tv is offering live streaming, this is not an official channel.

Sopcast is a good option to look out for some channels. This needs a download player and you need a good broadband connection to be able to watch continuous stream.

TVU Networks also offers long list of channels through its internet TV, you can find some channels streaming Olympics. You need to download TVU player to watch these channels.
