uTorrent the popular client software for downloading torrents is released for Mac systems today. uTorrent for windows was available from 2005 and the Mac versions is promised after it was acquired by BitTorrent Inc.
As Torrentfreak points out this release only runs on Leopard/Intel Macs at the moment and is still in beta, so Powerpc users may have to wait some more time to get uTorrent. Few Months ago an early alpha release of uTorrent was leaked to torrent sites.
