YouTube has introduced a new landing page for all HD content and a huge video player to watch HD videos. Along with the HD landing page there are three new landing pages for news, music and movies.
The HD video will carry watch in HD tag, when you click on the tag a huge video player will open that will take almost all the browser window. YouTube has a FAQ page that gives some tips on how to upload videos in HD. For example see the Harry Potter in the hood video in HD.

In a bid to smooth your path to the perfect video, we are testing three new video landing pages: youtube.com/news, youtube.com/music, and youtube.com/movies. The news page will be populated with breaking stories from around the world as well as news drawn from the Google News service; music will feature rising videos alongside playlists dedicated to different genres; movies will showcase some of the most popular short and full-length movies on YouTube today.
