Buffer.me is a new service that gives a nice interface to watch youtube videos. Buffer me allows users to watch videos is distraction free way.
It uses cool Ajax features to give nice touch to viewing videos online. The service looks like it is built on YouTube API, the developer says that “It will provide faster results than regular streaming websites, its much more intuitive design allows users to have a different and better experience watching their favorite online videos.” Although the UI is good and intuitive i didn’t find it much faster than youtube.
You can search for the videos or access the categories like most popular, most viewed, digg’s popular videos etc. You can also login using Youtube username and password but i don’t find it useful anyway. Users can build quick lists of videos by drag and drop in to the bottom panel. This quick list can be shared using the URL provided with others.
The player provides different options to view the video, normal with a central video player and related videos, video info on the right side, other options will provide only the video player in the center of the page which is a much better option for viewing videos.
