YouTube has the watch in high quality option in YouTube site for videos which have high quality version but this is not available for embedded videos till now, although it is possible to use a hack to do that. Now YouTube enabled the high quality YouTube video embeds, YouTube is providing a HQ button in the lower-right popup menu in the embedded YouTube player. Click on this button to see the high quality version of the video where it is available.
All the videos are not available as HQ videos but the videos which have this version will show the HQ button, you can see a big difference in quality while toggling between normal and high quality.
