Bmlet Gets You All The Bookmarklets Under One Hood

Bmlet is a one of its kind directory where all you can find is bookmarklets, aka smart javascript bookmarks. The term, coined in 1998 is now noted for the extendibility and productive effects that it brings into one’s surfing experience.

Bookmarklets are a single line of javascript code that you put into a browser’s bookmarks bar. When you click on the bookmark it executes the code and does something.

bmlet-logoWeb directory Bmlet aims to bring bookmarklets from all around the internet, under one place for people to browse and use. You can either use the search box to see if a bookmarklet for your need is available or you can simply browse through all of them. Each listing in the index has its own page from where you can drag the provided bookmarklet link to your bookmarks bar and install it.

On the social aspect, users can signup on the site and submit their own bookmarklets, comments on previously submitted ones and also rate them.

It has only been a month since Bmlet came into being and is actively being developed. You can also follow Bmlet on Twitter for live updates on latest submission.
