Google Drive for Android updated with video streaming support, pinch-to-zoom for presentations

Google has released an updated Google Drive for Android, the update brings two new features and performance improvements across the whole app. The update also includes bug fixes and other improvements apart from speed improvements.

Drive-Android

The notable feature in this Drive app update is the support for streaming video files on Honeycomb+, that is Android version 3.0 and above. This is a welcome and useful feature for people who share videos a lot with others, but users of Android 2.3, Gingerbread are left behind.

The other feature in this update is pinch-to-zoom support in the presentation viewer, this is a very useful feature for people who work on presentations on the go.

Google said the Drive app got the performance improvements but not mentioned the specifics of those improvements.
