BlackBerry Announces BBM for Android and iPhone

BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) is hugely popular service among BlackBerry users and also it is one of the strongest points of the BlackBerry Platform. BlackBerry today announced that its hugely popular service will make its appearance on rival platforms Android and iPhone. BBM will make the debut on these platforms this summer, and it will be available as a free download on Apple App Store and Google Play Store provided Apple and Google allow this app.

BBM On Android and iPhone initially supports chat, multi person, chats, users will be able to join BBM groups, at a later point of time all the BBM features will come to these platforms including screen sharing, video and voice chats.

BlackBerry CEO announced BBM Channels today at BlackBerry Live conference, the channels allow users to connect with brands, businesses, celebrities etc.
