BBC’s web 2.0 design is live today, BBC experimented with a web 2.0ish beta homepage for quite sometime now it hits the main site today.
The new homepage features AJAX content modules with drag and drop features. You can customize the look and content of the page in few clicks.
Well, web 2.0 – yes. But now I’m seriously missing the old design. The old one was so neat.
Personally, I think that this new design has loads of elements trying to grab our attention. May be, I’ll get used to it in a few days. 😛
Excellent look to the new page, I liked the customize page option. Truely Web 2.0
I’ve abandonned the BBC as my homepage now (using the Guardian). To use it the new BBC homepage I had to drop my security to below my comfort level.
