Karbonn Mobiles has launched another Android handset in the Indian market, named Karbonn Smart A11+, it is a budget Android handset with Dual SIM functionality. It is priced at Rs. 5,799 and is available from online retailers. This budget handset will compete with several launches from Indian manufacturers in this category along with Nokia Asha 501.
Karbonn Smart A11 Plus features a 4.7-inch capacitive multi-touch display at FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution, the pixel density is very less at 208ppi, may be enough for a budget handset. It runs on the Android 4.0 ICS operating system which is slightly disappointing as Karbonn would have give Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, now budget handsets are coming with Jelly Bean on board, for example Xolo A500S.
It will come with a 3.2MP rear camera and a VGA front camera, 1450mAh battery under the hood to provide juice. It has 512 MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM. It is powered by a 1GHz processor. This phone is missing 3G and GPS options, supports dual SIM though. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Edge.
