Lenovo IdeaPad A1000 is available in India at Rs. 8980

Lenovo has launched another tablet in India, IdeaPad A1000 is now listed at its online store for Rs.8,980. The Android tablet is first launched at MWC this year. It comes with a SIM slot for 2G data and voice calling, 3G support is available through USB dongle. It is going to compete with several budget tablets with voice calling in India including Acer Iconia B1, Asus MemoPad etc.

It features a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 pixels, and runs on 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8317 processor. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. On the memory front it has 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal memory and a micro SD card slot for memory expansion upto 32GB.

It packs a 3500mAh battery to power up the device, it gives upto 8 hours of battery life on Wi-Fi browsing. It comes with a 0.3MP front camera for video calling. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 2G, Bluetooth, USB. It features dual stereo speakers that are spaced for better stereo effects and for Dolby audio enhancements.
