LG revealed Optimus G Pro for the Korean market on it’s Facebook page ahead of this year’s MWC. Price and availability of the device for markets other than Korea is not yet clear, though the press release says that the device is scheduled to be released by the end of February.
LG already released a version of this device in Japan few weeks back, that has only 5-inch screen and there are other differences between them as well.
Optimus G Pro is powered by a 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 pro quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has a 5.5-inch display with curved glass and Full HD resolution. LG says that the curved glass will give the device a 2.5D effect, the back panel of the device is glittery similar to what we have seen in the Google Nexus 4. It also features a massive battery at 3140mAh, 32GB of internal storage and 13MP rear camera, 2.1MP front-facing camera and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Availability of the device for the rest of the world is not clear, but we will know by the end of this month at MWC 2013.
