Jango is a new service that lets you listen to your favorite music online for free. You can create stations searching with artists names, once created you can customize the station by adding other artists.
You can control what you want to hear in your station by using the slider ranging from Popular Favorites, Happy medium and Wide Variety.
The site has social networking features, you can connect with other users with similar interests and listen to their favorites. You can rate the songs you are hearing.

Mp3splt-project is a useful tiny tool to split your mp3 and ogg files. It is useful to split large mp3 or ogg files to split them to make smaller ones, you can also use it to obtain original tracks by splitting entire albums.
mp3splt-project features
- split mp3 and ogg files from a begin time to an end time without decoding
- split an album with splitpoints from the freedb.org server
- split an album with local .XMCD, .CDDB or .CUE file
- split files automatically with silence detection
- split files by a fixed time length

Google Desktop Gadgets can now be added to your Google Startpage. Earlier it was not possible to add Google desktop gadgets to iGoogle, but with Google desktop new release you can do that. You can find the cool gadgets like media player from the Gadgets directory.
You need Google Desktop 5.5 to be able to add desktop gadgets to your startpage. With this latest version you can have multiple instances of a gadget.

myMovo is a Video search and streaming engine. With myMovo you can search video content on the web and convert them easily to your portable device format. myMovo can support remote (streaming) or local files.
myMovo is a video search engine which searches internet for new video content. In order to use it you need to download the myMovo software and run it locally, it can stream video search results directly from the content provider, through your computer, to your media player. When using first time you need to setup a profile by registering and you will select media player and other configuration parameters.

The University Of California Berkely has begun posting videos of full length lectures on Youtube. In a press release UC Berkeley said that it would post 300 hours of videotaped courses and events to Yuotube. UC Berkeley channel can be accessed from here.
Topics of these videos range from Physics, Biology and conflict studies. UC Berkeley will continue to expand this video collection.
Now remember you can learn something new by watching videos on [tag]Youtube[/tag]. MIT has also done something like this, instead of posting to youtube they have created a video site.
