Olive Telecom launched a 3G tablet in India priced at Rs 25000, and dubbed as OlivePad. OlivePad is running Android 2.1 with HSUPA, Wi-fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Amazon Kindle Goes International with a Price Cut

Amazon Kindle debuted with a hefty price and then in July it dropped the price to $299 and today they dropped the price to $259. The big Kindle DX is still priced at $489 though. Price cuts aside, Amazon has added an international version for $279 with US & International wireless options.
