WhatsApp now allows you to share documents

WhatsApp has pushed an important update that allows its users to share documents through the messaging service. Document sharing over WhatsApp is the most awaited feature for the popular communication platform. WhatsApp allowed photo and video sharing from quite sometime and what is missing is the document sharing the recent update brings the much awaited feature.

The latest version 2.12.453 brings the document sharing feature, currently it only supports PDF files and it is not clear when it will support other document formats. To use document sharing click on attachment link and you will see the document link and use that to share document stored on your device. The feature is available to both Android and iOS users, Windows Phone users have to wait for some time.

WhatsApp recently announced that it is ending support for BlackBerry and older operating systems as these don’t support the future plans for the service. WhatsApp has ditched the annual subscription fee and is testing business accounts.
