Zen Mobiles has launched a successor for its Ultrafone 701 HD, the new phone is called Ultrafone 701 FHD, referring to the fact that the later is a Full HD phone. It is priced at ?17,999 and is already available in the Indian market. At that price range with its spec sheet it will compete with the Micromax Canvas Turbo and other phones in that range.
Ultrafone 701 FHD features a 5-inch IPS display with One Glass Solution (OGS), it supports 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution with pixel density of 441ppi. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection for protecting it from scratches. It is powered by a 1.5Ghz Quad Core processor, possible the MediaTek MT6589T. It packs 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a micro SD card for memory expansion upto 64GB.

On the rear of the device there is a 13-megapixel camera and on the front there is an 8-megapixel camera. Currently there is a rat race of putting so many pixels on the front camera and this one takes it further to 8MP. But megapixel won’t do any magic unless the sensors and software accompanied with it robust. Other imaging features include AutoFocus on rear camera and an LED flash.
It packs a 2050mAh battery under the hood. Other features include a SmartCover function, Magnesium frame around the phone.
