ChainFire3D – Manipulate Graphic Drivers and Play HD Games on Android

Different Android devices come with different graphics and drivers. Most high-end phones feature impressive graphics and they should be able to play heavy Android games, however, even these high-end phones are not able to load up all the games correctly. Basically, they have the ability to load the games and display the right graphics, however, drivers might cause an issue and some games might not be compatible. Chainfire3D is an app for the Android OS, which will let you play all Android games the right way. Whether you want to play GTA or you want to play Need For Speed on your high-end Android device, ChainDevice3D is the best option for 3D graphics.

Basically, the app is an OpenGl driver, which means that it can change and manipulate the commands between the graphic drivers of the phone and the app/ game that you are using. For advanced users, you get several additional features including the option to reduce texture size and quality, unroll textures and replace shaders.

The primary use of the app is to manipulate the game and the graphic drivers. The app loads up plugins for different types of graphic drivers and you can load up these plugins depending on the type of game that you want to play. The app supports plugins for Tegra2, PowerVR, Qualcomm and ATI texture emulation. Different games use different types of Plugins and even though there are games on Android which have different versions depending on the device and drivers, there are some games which are only available for some graphic drivers including earlier versions of Need For Speed which only supported PowerVR.

ChainFire3D also features a night mode option for saving battery. Cyanogenmod ROMS have a battery saving feature where the number of colors are reduced on the screen. If you have low battery and need to use your phone for important stuff, then setting night mode is the perfect option to save battery.

ChainFire3D can be downloaded using this link. The app requires root and you should create a Nandroid backup in case anything goes wrong as the app manipulates the graphic drivers. The plugins are available here. You need to extract the rar file and need to copy the zip files on the root of your phone. Then, you need to install the plugins using ChainFire3D. After installing the plugins, you can load up different drivers for playing different HD games.

If this app overclocks the phone in stealth mode, it is best to avoid it. If it has the ability to trick the phone, why Google is not implementing it in Android?
