LG to launch Optimus G Pro in June-July in India for Rs. 40000

LG to launch it’s phablet Optimus G Pro in India in the months of June or July according to LG executives. LG first unveiled this phone in Korea just ahead of MWC this year. In India LG will release the 5.5-inch version of the smartphone, it is selling a 5-inch version in Japan. Optimus G Pro is heading to US on May 1st as announced previously.

LG revealed the details on launch and the pricing at LG Tech Show 2013. The latest phablet from is priced at Rs. 40,000, which is expected considering its previous gen version Optimus G is launched at Rs. 35500. Optimus G Pro comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and runs on 1.7GHz Quad-Core Processor.

  • OS: Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
  • Battery: 3,140mAh (removable / wireless charging capable)
