Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 with 5-inch 720p Display Leaked

Micromax may be readying another Android handset in the next few days or weeks called Micromax Canvas Magnus. Micromax is already busy with promoting Canvas Turbo A250 smartphone, it even roped in a Hugh Jackman as the brand ambassador.

Prolific Micromax leaker MMXNewscaster has leaked what appears to be press images of Micromax’s upcoming smartphone A117 Canvas Magnus. The device will feature a 5-inch 720p display according to the leak. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Quad Core Processor, probably the MediaTek MT6589T processor, along with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory.

It will come with a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Canvas Magnus packs a 2000mAh battery under the hood, which may not be sufficient for this kind of phone.

Other details and Price of the device is not yet clear. But if you look at the specifications you can guess the device might be placed between Canvas HD and Canvas 4 and might be priced around ?16000 to ?17000 range. We don’t know anything official about the device at the moment, but we will let you know if we hear anything more.

Micromax is hyping the next flagship device Canvas Turbo recently with teasers, the launch is around the corner according to previous leaks. The device is expected to come with 5-inch Full HD display with 1.5GHz Quad Core processor and expected to be priced at upwards of ?22000.
