Samsung announced the next version of its Galaxy Ace smartphone, Galaxy Ace 3. The newest member of the Galaxy series is a lower to mid range Android smartphone running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Ace 3 got a bump in the processor department it is now powered by a 1GHz Dual Core Processor with 1GB of RAM.
It now comes with a 4-inch TFT LCD screen with WVGA screen resolution. Other specifications include 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a front VGA camera for video calling.
Although it is at the lower end of the Galaxy line of phones Samsung has added some smart features to make it attractive for the prospective buyer. It includes S Translator, S Travel, S Voice and Easy Mode apps. It also comes with the Smart Stay feature that makes the screen to dim when the user is not looking at the screen.
According to Samsung it will be available as 3G or LTE version based on the market. It is good to see a lower end phone that supports LTE. Both 3G and LTE version have some differences in specifications. The LTE version is powered by the 1.2GHz dual core processor and has an internal memory of 8GB and comes with 1800mAh battery. While the 3G version has 1GHz dual core processor, 4GB of internal memory and comes with 1500mAh battery.
