Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy S4 Zoom, from past few weeks we have seen several leaks, today a Russian has already reviewed the device. The Galaxy S4 Zoom is less of a phone and more of a Camera with a smartphone tucked back to the camera. It comes with a 16MP camera with 10X optical zoom, the optical zoom lens adds to the bulk of the phone, it looks more like a camera than a phone. But it might not be too uncomfortable to hold.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Samsung released it with the successful S4 brand name but there is nothing in this phone that reminds of you S4, it is more like a S4 mini. It is powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor and 1.5GB of RAM, according to Samsung the processor will vary by market. It comes with a 4.3-inch super AMOLED screen with qHD (960*540 pixels) resolution.
It has 8 GB of internal memory with support for micro SD card for expanding the memory upto 64GB. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, NFC, 3G, LTE, AGPS+GLONASS, Bluetooth (LE) etc.
The main feature of this phone is its camera. It has a 16 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor camera with 10x optical zoom and enhanced Smart modes. It comes with optical image stabilizer. The phone also features a front camera of 1.9 megapixel.
