Sample photos confirm Nokia 1020 41-megapixel camera phone

From time to time we are seeing the Nokia’s next Lumia phone with 41-megapixel camera codenamed “EOS” in leaks and recently there is some confusion in the name of the phone. One leak suggested that it might be called Nokia Lumia 1020, and another Nokia 909, now Joe Belfiore, Windows Phone Manager has posted photos taken with Nokia Lumia 1020 to his Flickr account. These photos sort of confirm the name of the next Lumia phone from Nokia.

The photos are here and here and if you look at the Exif data you will see the Nokia Lumia 1020 name, an unreleased phone so far. The pictures are at different resolution, one is taken at 2947 x 1658 (~5MP resolution) and another is 2352 x 1568 (~3.7MP resolution), probably a cropped down picture. The resolutions also suggest that 1020 may be able to take pictures at different resolution after all.

There are not many hints photos except that they confirm the name of the next Lumia as Nokia Lumia 1020. We don’t have to wait longer as Nokia is scheduling an event on July 11th in New York, we will know more info on that date. The device is expected to come with a Nokia Pro Cam app to make use of the 41-megapixel sensor.
