Karbonn Mobiles has launched yet another Android smartphone in the Indian market, dubbed Karbonn A29 is priced at Rs. 8,990. It comes with a 4.7-inch display and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It is available for purchase from online retailer Saholic.com.
Karbonn A29 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, it features a 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels). On the memory front it has a 4GB of internal storage out of which 2.5GB is available to the user. It also features a micro SD slot for memory expansion upto 32GB.
It comes with a 8MP camera at the rear with LED Flash, it also has a 2MP front facing camera for video calls. Connectivity options include GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB. It packs a 200mAh battery under the hood for providing juice to the smartphone.
This is a basic Android phone with decent specifications, but the competition is already going forward with Quad Core phones at similar price range.
