Moneycontrol.com is the go to site for Financial information in India, If you have interest in stock markets you already know this site. Although the site’s user interface is worst and clumsy, it provides all the information needed for the traders and investors alike. MoneyControl.com released mobile apps for leading Mobile operating systems including Android and iPhone or iOS.
The application on both Android and iPhone is has the same functionality. When you open the app you will Index values (Asian Markets), Market Movers (Stock Prices), Commodities values and Currencies.
Moneycontrol Markets on Mobile App for iPhone
You can use swipe and tap to alternate between tabs of the app. Tabs include Indices which shows all the Indian indexes including small cap, mid cap, banking index etc and also the world markets. Market Movers tab will show you top gainers, top losers etc.

The menu at the bottom of the app will give access to stocks, news, My stocks, messages and videos. If you login to Moenycontrol.com you can view your portfolios, watchlists etc. To login click on My Stocks.
There is a live ticker on top of the app, that can be customized by login into the app. You can select between BSE, NSE, Your Portfolio, Your Watchlist stocks as ticker.
Using the get quote button you can get quotes for stocks you want on the fly. The stock page shows the current stock price, change compared to previous close, stock chart, opemn, close, high, low values along with Volume, 52 week high and low. Also shows river of news from Moneycontrol.com.
This is a quite useful app if you are interested in financial markets. The app provides current information about the stocks, indexes etc and more importantly news.
